Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (prostate enlargement) is reported to occur to some degree in almost 50% of men over the age of 50. The condition is characterized by an urge to frequently urinate, while at the same time having difficulty initiating the process.

NatureStar's Prosta Health Complex is a comprehensive blend of phyto-extracts that have been shown to have anti-inflammatory actiion on the prostate gland. These include Saw Palmetto, Pygeum, Stinging Nettle, and Pumpkin Seed, which have been compared to the prescription drug Proscar for effectiveness in the treatment of BPH.

The extracts reduce the tissue levels of DHT (Androgenic hormone) that accelerates cancerous growth, while simultaneously reducing the prostate enlargement.

The dosage of Saw Plametto (320mg) and the Pygeum (150mg) exceed the clinical dosages associated with efficacy.

Lycopene, a fifth synergistic ingredient is a powerful anti-oxidant, and has also been shown to reduce PSA levels in the blood.
